Valentine's Day
Translated mainly by: Shahd Ismail, Marah Habashneh and Rama Malkawi
In all her elegance and beauty that passing years could
not change and her charming feminine look, she approached him and said, “Good
afternoon. How are you?”
“Your bouquet is ready with your favourite colours, and the
card is next to it.”
She held the pen and wrote no more than four words, “Of
course, you have the address,” she addressed him.
Like in each time, he replied wondering, “Yes madam! When do
you like me to send it?” “2 p.m. as usual?”
The bouquet was on her desk when she arrived at work. There was
some curiosity on her colleagues’ faces. Fierce jealousy was killing some of
her female colleagues.
“Who? Who sends a bouquet on this day every year?”
